Rumors
​The Playhouse of Wilson kicks off its Fall 2024 season with Neil Simon’s fast-paced, side-splitting comedy *Rumors*! When a group of high-society friends gathers for a dinner party at the deputy mayor’s home, they quickly realize something is terribly wrong—he’s been shot (just a flesh wound), his wife is missing, and the servants have disappeared. As cover-ups spiral into chaos and rumors run wild, the guests scramble to protect their own reputations while keeping the outrageous truth under wraps. Packed with sharp wit, rapid-fire dialogue, and hilarious misunderstandings, *Rumors* is a farcical delight that will keep audiences laughing from start to finish.
